Student questions

Can I sign up without an instructor?
Yes. You get the AI tutor, ACS tracker, voice logbook, and FAA test prep without one. You can connect to an instructor later if you want.
Can I export my logbook?
Yes. CSV export to ForeFlight, LogTen, and MyFlightbook is included in every tier — no lock-in.
Is there a free tier?
There's a 14-day free trial; after that it's $15/mo. Cancel anytime and we'll send you a clean export.
Does the AI tutor cite sources?
Yes. Every answer cites the FAA reference (FAR, AIM, Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, Airplane Flying Handbook) so you can verify before you fly.
I just got my PPL — is this still useful?
Yes. Currency tracking (90/6/24-month rolling), $100-burger flight planning, and IFR / Commercial study tracks are all included.

What if I have zero students yet?
Same price, same product. The AI dispatcher and student-management tools are useful while you're building a practice — they're not gated until you have N students.
Do I need a school?
No. Standalone instructors get the full feature set. If you later join a school, your data and students migrate cleanly.
How many students are included?
Up to 5 students are included in the $39 base. Above that it's +$8/student/mo, capped at $99/mo for unlimited.
Will my students have to pay separately?
Yes — the student tier is its own SKU at $15/mo. You can subsidize via your own billing if you choose, but the platform bills students directly by default.
Can I export student records if I leave?
Yes. Full PDF + structured export per student (logbook, endorsements, progress, invoices). Your data stays yours.

School questions

Do you support Part 141?
Yes, on the $1,499 Pro tier and above. That tier adds the TCO Manager, stage checks, and audit-pack export.
What about multi-location?
The Pro tier supports up to 3 locations. Academy ($3,999) is unlimited locations and includes SSO + custom contracting.
Can independent instructors join a school later?
Yes. We have an opt-in rollup with a 30-day shadow trial period — the school sees aggregate metrics, no PII and no billing — before full integration.
Is there an FAA audit prep feature?
Yes. The Compliance Vault auto-generates an audit packet PDF per student, with all endorsements, stage checks, and required records.
Stripe / GI Bill / financial aid?
Stripe ACH and card payments via our marketplace integration. GI Bill 22-1999 reporting is on the Academy tier.
